The second resort in the Meraki collection, Meraki Sharm El Sheikh occupies a breathtaking site on the tip of the Sinai Peninsula where the Gulfs of Aqaba and Suez converge — one of the most geographically dramatic locations in the world. The project completes and extends the Meraki brand's ambition to redefine luxury resort development on Egypt's Red Sea coast, bringing to Sharm El Sheikh the same philosophy of contextual design, environmental sensitivity, and uncompromising guest experience that distinguished the Hurghada resort.
At 180 keys, Meraki Sharm is the more intimate of the two Meraki resorts, arranged across a site that descends from the desert plateau to a private lagoon beach in a series of dramatic terraces. The architecture draws from the geological drama of the Sinai landscape — raw rock faces, layered sandstone strata, and the extraordinary clarity of the Red Sea light — to create a resort that feels carved from its environment rather than placed upon it.
Key facilities include six restaurants and bars, a 2,000 m² spa with dedicated desert wellness programme, four pools including a signature salt-water lagoon pool, a dive centre offering access to some of the world's most celebrated reef systems, and a curated programme of desert excursions and cultural experiences unique to the extraordinary setting of the southern Sinai. Meraki Sharm El Sheikh opened in early 2024 and has been acclaimed by the international luxury travel press as one of the most significant new resort openings of the year.
